my final bookcovers

concept statement:
“The world is but a canvas to the imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge, for while knowledge defines all we currently know and understand, imagination points to all we might yet discover and create.”

to suggest:

to suggest fantasy and fiction
to suggest a sense of mystery

to suggest use your imagination
to suggest finding your inner child
to suggest a somewhat scary story

to suggest what’s behind the unopened door

to suggest a magical place

I never really saw anythign on theee as you were working on them but they turned out really well! They have such an adult appeal to them now (maybe the black) but there are also so many elements that would make a kid want to read them too (the dreamy smoke) so mysterious and spooky

apparently you're popular to comment on so ima join on in.

I REALLY like your choices of fonts. it gives your covers a more childlike feel because the images are very sophisticated. i like the play on the two. NEAT!!

You can definitely tell these are supposed to work together. They have kind of a creepy, mysterious feel to them...I can't remember if they were supposed to or not, but it gives a different view on childhood stories.

Wow these are so dramatic and eye catching. Your use of color is awesome and the imagery from back to front is very successful. Nice.

Addie stole my comment (Momma likey!) So I'll just say, "Holy Jeez those are nice." Uniquely modern and interesting. I'd read them.
